Horror stories

Kahapon, habang pinipindot ko ang close button ng elevator, merong babae na sumigaw ng antay lang. So binuksan ko ulit ang pinto at pinasakay sya. She pressed the “2” button.

Left, right, front, back iisa ang amoy!? For a while inakala ko nasa shuttle ako papuntang impyerno.

Goodbye my top model AJ

It’s been more than a week since I last posted an entry here and already I am missing this site. Not that my life’s been uneventful lately and that I have nothing to write about. It’s actually the opposite.

I was so loaded with stories these past days, but I just didn’t know where to begin or how to write about them. Or maybe typing them one by one would only bring back bad memories or generate negative vibrations in the air.

Well, I’m just happy that everything’s over now and I didn’t write anything about those. I surely wouldn’t want to remember them now.

It’s silly that three of the five girls I’ve been rooting for in America’s Next Top Model Cycle 7 have now been eliminated. First to go home was Megan, then Megg, and more recently my top-favorite AJ.

It’s really a shame that AJ got eliminated since she’s been delivering good photos since the show started. This Linda Evangelista cum Sandra Bullock look-alike would’ve gone really far had the judges been more logical in choosing who they will be sending home that week.

Moving on, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Brooke and Carridee. Go girls!

(And thanks, Tessa, for feeding me with new episodes every week! You have no idea how thankful I am.)

Another show that’s driving me crazy is Prison Break, shown every Tuesday. It’s just so addicting!

But no matter how addicting Prison Break is, Thursday, for me, is still the best day of the week. Jensen Ackles’ Supernatural is over but an equally interesting show replaced it, Patricia Arquette’s Medium. Desperate Housewives has ended but I’m glad Nip/Tuck is here to keep me company.

The Peak

Because we truly missed each other, and one whole day wasn’t enough to catch up with each other’s lives, Selena and I decided to take our reunion adventure to a higher level – literally, as in 552 meters above sea level!

After office, I picked her up and took her to Garden Road in Central, where we took the Peak tram going to, where else…The Peak!

Compared to my December visit with +honhon+, this time was a bit hotter since winter hasn’t formally started yet, and there were less people so Selena and I had more opportunity to get a more spectacular view of the city.

Week’s grand finale

Selena’s in town and we agreed on spending the whole day here:

The Park wasn’t as packed compared to my first visit in April, thanks to the month-long Halloween Bash, Ocean Park’s night shift for owl people.

Aside from the spooky stuffs, Selena and I discovered animals and attractions +honhon+ and I were not able to see. Like this

…and this:

And for the second time, I hopped aboard the thrilling:

Just so you’d know, I also had my first photo shoot with a:

Crazy week

There was the ring hunt last Wednesday. The YM-session-til-3am with SG friends last Thursday. The Fat Angelo’s dinner last Friday. Then yesterday’s sleepover.

It’s been a really busy, crazy week for me. And it’s not over yet. Grand finale today at Ocean Park, wuhoo!

Yesterday’s adventure with friends couldn’t have been funner! The five of us practically ransacked Esprit outlet in Tsim Sha Tsui. Not contented with Esprit, some of us even went to Gramville St. and rummaged through the export overruns.

The highlight of the day, for the five us, was the dinner at Koh-I-Nor in Central, where we chanced upon some friends and colleagues. The Indian restaurant instantly turned into a Pinoy place!

The biggest highlight, for me, was when Katzee and I chanced upon Ciara Sotto and the cute na cute na Paolo Ballesteros at Hankow Road, wuhoo!

After dinner, the five of us dropped by Park N Shop and bought a dozen bottles of Smirnoff, headed to Ems’ flat and continued the fun.

There were stories; pictures from Europe; laughs; photo sessions; “scandals”; Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock; Smirnoff; chips; more chips!

Now this is what you call Dolce Vita, baby!
