Pinas, Pinas!
Finally done packing. Cleaned the house. Double-checked my passport, OEC and HKID. Checked in online. And reserved a seat.
What’s left for me to do now is sleep, go to the office for one last time this year, and in no time I’ll be in Manila – again!
I’ll be there for almost three weeks. That means a lot of DVD marathoning, videoke-ing, malling and bonding with family – not to mention my ultimate jologs pastime, Palengke tour!
That also means a few out of town trips and a number of get-togethers with friends and old classmates. And that also means I’ll be escaping the peak of winter here.
I can’t wait to exploit Mall of Asia and revisit Market Market! Can’t wait to go ice skating and bowling in Mega Mall. Can’t wait to dine at Robinson’s Galleria food court.
Can't wait to belt it out at Music21. Can’t wait to watch film fest movies at SM Cinema. And can’t actually wait to hear more about showbiz chika, like the Vina and Borgy issue.
And most importantly, I can’t wait to be "your fab jologs in Pinas" once again!
Drawing the line
It's surprising how people's behavior and preferences can be so unstable. How our thoughts change so quickly. How our statements can be so contradicting at times. And how our affinity with others changes overnight.
One day you're a hero, the next you're just a blob they wish would go away. One day you've got a friend, the next you've got yourself a backstabbing bitch.
The transformation happens quickly but you can trace where it actually started.
Oftentimes you feel sorry for what happened. Sometimes you think it's better that way. But most of the time you learn from it. That it is actually a blessing in disguise – something that must happen in order for you to be wiser and stronger.
And amid all the silent treatment and drama and remorse and brainwashing, what's important is for one to know where to position and be positive in taking the other direction.
And be proud in saying, "To all the backstabbing bitches in my life, thank you for making me a lot wiser and stronger now."
Another coma
I don’t know if it’s just coincidence but, whatever it is, I find it so frustrating and ironic that I broke my N3650 cellphone on the same day I bought a mobile phone for +honhon+.
Apparently, my old cellphone–which, by the way, woke up from coma September this year–couldn’t really stand the cold weather. I was out the whole day today and I exposed it to a temperature of 12 to 17 degrees.
Now I have no choice but to use my Christmas gift for +honhon+ for a few days before I actually hand it over to +him+ (ssshhh, let’s just keep it a secret–I’m sure +honhon+ will understand).
Second chance
I may have missed the grand reunion last week, but here comes another chance to meet up with my old friends from back in elementary school. I’m so excited to go home to Pinas and attend the mini get-together before the year ends.
Things are really starting to heat up. Ever since our Yahoogroups account was created, people have been showing up one by one and their daily messages are clogging my inbox (which, by the way, is also a good thing since through that I get to know more about them, how they’ve changed and what they’ve been up to all these years).
Kudos to Cycle 7 top model
And while we’re at the top model topic, I heard the Next Top Model British Invasion has already started. While the Philippines’ Next Top Model is still underway. I can’t wait to watch Ruffa host the first episode.
